Questions
How do I create a font from an image?
Upload the image and say whether it shows lettering, handwriting or cursive. AI redraws the whole alphabet in that style, every letter is traced into a font, and you download it. It usually takes under a minute.
Can I turn my handwriting into a font?
Yes. Write a few words or the alphabet on plain paper with a dark pen, take a sharp photo, and choose Handwriting (or Cursive for joined-up writing). Letters that aren't in your photo are drawn to match your hand.
Can I make a font from a logo?
Yes, from the lettering in it. A single word is enough to capture the style; the more different letters the image shows, the closer the rest of the alphabet will match. Only use lettering you own or have permission to copy.
Which file formats do I get?
OTF and TTF to install on Mac and Windows and use in apps like Word, Photoshop, Figma and Cricut Design Space, plus WOFF and WOFF2 for websites. The OTF download is free; each other format costs 5 credits once per font.
Which languages does the font cover?
Every font has A to Z in both cases, the digits and common punctuation. You can add the accented letters for one of 22 European languages, every European accent at once, or Cyrillic for Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian, Bulgarian, Serbian and Macedonian.
Is it free?

What happens to my image?
Your image is sent to OpenAI only to redraw the lettering; the font itself is built on our server. We keep your font for about 30 minutes so you can edit it, so download it before you leave.
